this advertising of the item up for auction will display the time remaining FOR AT LEAST ONE BIDDER TO PLACE A BID.  the placement of a bid ensures that the item will remain available at auction; and for others to join in the bidding. 

IF A BID IS NOT PLACED INTO AN AUCTION BEING ADVERTISED WITHIN THE TIME period it will BE REMOVED.

eACH AUCTION THAT HAS A PURPLE "miN pRICE" label REQUIRES THAT A RESERVE HAS to be met.  THIS MEANS THAT THIS ITEM WILL NOT BE SOLD UNTIL THIS NUMBER OF BIDS HAs BEEN Put into the AUCTION.  The Reserve amount can vary based on the ITEM COST and SHIPPING.  rule of thumb: Reserve prices will be very close to the Cost of the items divided by 100.  (it may be a few dollars below or above that calculation)  




IF AT LEAST ONE BID HAS BEEN PLACED AND THE INITIAL ADVERTISING CLOCK RUNS OUT, IT WILL RESET ITSELF; then CONTINUE TO ADVERTISE UNTIL THE RESERVE HAS BEEN MET.  IT IS only WHEN THE RESERVE HAS BEEN MET THAT THE RESET CLOCK (red IN COLOR) WILL COUNTDOWN TO CONCLUsion IF no OTHER BIDs are PLACED.

when a reserve HAS BEEN MET THE PURPLE "MIN PRICE" ICON WILL SWAP OUT TO A GREEN "go" ICON. 


WHEN THE GREEN "go" ICON APPEARS, THE COUNTDOWN OF THE RED SECONDS CLOCK WILL NOT RESET, BUT RATHER FINISH COUNTING DOWN TO ZERO IF no OTHER BIDs are PLACED.

IF A BID IS PLACED INTO AN AUCTION THE SECONDS CLOCK will EXTEND TO THE ADVERTISED EXTENSION TIME FRAME.  EVERY AUCTION SHOWS THE AMOUNT OF EXTENSION TIME.  THIS ALLOWS OTHER BIDDERs TO BID IF they are INTERESTED.  IT'S similar to an AUCTIONEER SHOUTING “GOING ONCE...GOING TWICE...SOLD!” AT A TRADITIONAL AUCTION.  AND JUST LIKE A TRADITIONAL AUCTION, YOU WIN BY BEING THE LAST BIDDER TO GET A BID IN..




Every time you make a bid it will be deducted from your remaining bids and will increase the auction price.

 
Once you have paid the final auction price and shipping costs, the item is yours!

4. Place bids to win!
Click on the "Bid" button to place a bid.  Each time you place a bid ToucanWin.com deducts one bid from your Bids Account; and adds time to the clock. We add time to allow other users interested in winning an auction item to have an opportunity to place a bid.  If you are the last bidder when the timer reaches zero, YOU WIN!

What is "Buy It Now"?

The value of all bids placed in an auction is applied to the retail price, so voucher bids used in an auction do not count towards the "Buy It Now" price. If you choose to "Buy It Now", you can pick from any of our amazing products that are available in that particular auction. Thanks for bidding! If you're looking to get the best deal on your purchase, the "Buy It Now" feature is the way to go. Your discount is calculated based on the number of real bids placed and the bid price. So the more bids you place, the higher your discount will be. Shipping and taxes (if applicable) are added to the "Buy It Now" price.
